This is just a preview of the new fall 09 Pierre Hardy collection for the GAP. Now I wasn't too fond of the collaboration for S/S but this time around I'm kind of in love with these boots. Cannot wait for these to hit stores and for $150, they are definitely something to consider.
"Officially, the collections created by Betsey Johnson in the 60s and 70s are no longer vintage pieces: they´re contemporary fashion, thanks to Opening Ceremony.
Do you remember the film Ciao Manhattan? It starred Edie Segwick, one of Andy Warhol´s muses, who wore some of the most emblematic looks by the well-known New York designer.
Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, the alter egos of Opening Ceremony, took a look in Betsey Johnson´s archives and took a liking to some of her styles from the 60s, 70s and 80s. They´ve adapted them to a contemporary look, in a collection called Betsey Johnson Archive."
Theses are some killer punk looks that I'm head over heals for, how brilliant is that freaking romper.
