"To celebrate the launch of Stephen Sprouse book and exhibition, Louis Vuitton revisits the collaboration that launched a thousand waiting lists"
it's comical, styled and overal a beautiful homage to stephen sprouse who was known for mixing the two.what brilliant start to the day.

octopus garden
this is one of the coolest finds. i was browsing online for interesting jewelery pieces and came across OctopusMe a dope esty seller that makes jewelry out of octopus tentacles, real octopus tentacles. crazy i know, but they sure do look mighty nice once recast in sterling silver. they sell not only rings but also other assorted pieces in this handsome sucker style.
i would like to own one please, but seeing as they range from $160-400 i will have to hold off for a while. hopefully once my next paycheck rolls in i will order one of these bad boys.
you can surf on over and pick one up for your own collection online here.

one flew over the cuckoo's nest
So I'm sitting in my backyard starring at the birds on my moms grouping a bird houses which led to me finding this little gem online.
Designer birdhouses.
"Tozio Azumi:This is a bird house for very elegant birds, with its lyrical paper swirls made out of auction catalogues. :: Phillips de Pury & Company"<--That is the site where this item was auctioned off for art purposes apparently, I would like one for my own practical use, I think it would add a little something to my tree.
acne wash
Acne Paper is a magazine based out of Paris and is published twice a year. Its primary goal as stated on their website is to "move effortlessly between high and popular culture....celebrating personality, authenticity and style."
This is a spread from their Spring 08 issue that caught my eye whether it be the contrast of black and white or the play on words with the title "come alive" showcasing the brilliant model almost striping away or breaking free from societies black and white views to revile something so colourful and beautiful and unique. Take from it what you think its definitely a shoot I find myself drawn to and thinking of.

selbify your pad
MustBuy.MustBuy.MustBuy
for 37 dollars you can have a piece of the selby in your home.
what the selby is all about-"the selby features photographs, paintings and videos by todd selby of interesting people and their creative spaces" as it simply states on their home page. it showcases spaces from brooklyn to paris and is great home decor inspiration.
the selby paris book is a compilation of watercolor paintings and photographs of all the people that were photographed in paris for the selby collette show, many of which have not been displayed online.
this book is the second edition, with only 600 copies printed in NYC. its definitely something that should be showcased on your coffee table or bookcase.
hopefully i can scrounge up some money off my next paycheck and place an order before they sell out.

garance dore has given me a new obsession and my goodness do they look comfortable. DIY yourself a pair of AA sweatpant into sophisticated daytime shorts. add a cuff and a simple top and you have yourself a new summer look.
i'm in love with how relaxed and classic this look is, god love Garance Doré
two weeks
veckatimest is the third full-length album by grizzly bear, named after a small island in dukes county, massachusetts where they recorded the record.
the album carries a mix of a sunny upbeat tone heard in the song "two weeks" while not straying from drostes haunting vocal sounds and harmonious ways of the beach boys, which is heard throughout the record. in my opinion its their best album to date and is one that i will be listening to for a long time.
i saw them live at the phoenix on friday with amanda graham and they were even better live, with a surprise appearance by leslie feist i left the venue that night on cloud 9.
check this album out, its definitely going to be on blast 24/7 for me.
